In Queensland it is a requirement that your funds are placed in a Funeral Bond, ensuring that your investment is protected. We can assist you with the implementation of a Funeral Bond, the proceeds of which will go towards the cost of your funeral when required. No age limit applies.
Our other option is a Fixed Price Pre-Paid Funeral Plan with Foresters Friendly Society, whereby we consult with you to establish all the details for your future funeral, detail all of the costs at today’s prices, you contribute the funds to us and we will then conduct the funeral when required at no further cost to you or your family (provided no changes are made to the details). Understandably this thoughtful consideration takes a great load off the grieving family at the time of passing. Loved ones are given the opportunity to mourn their loss without having the additional stress of not knowing what the deceased’s funeral wishes were and not having the worry of providing funds to pay for the funeral. Fixed Price Funerals do incur a setup fee.
We offer a very sound Funeral Insurance package and we recommend that anyone considering funeral insurance should talk with us first. One needs to be aware of some of the pitfalls associated with many insurance schemes being promoted, as they don’t always prove to be in the client’s best interest. The Sureplan Family Fund Insurance that we offer is highly recommended for those persons between the ages of 1 and 55.
